**CT PTU TUTORIAL - Warm Wishes**

*This tutorial is written by me using Photoshop CS6 but any version will work.
Any similarity to any other tut is coincidental.*
Supplies:
Tube of choice. I'm using the artwork of Verymany.
You must purchase a license to be able to use their work.
Kit of choice. I'm using PTU kit 'Warm Wishes'
Mask of choice - DD_2014FM1
Font of choice - Rege Italic
Let's get started...
We'll do this one little different, tag will be insed the mask.
So open new canvas 600x600 and then open your mask as new image.
Mask layer will be called 'Background' and will be locked.
Double click on same layer, press OK. Layer name will be 'Layer 0'.
Add a new layer above it and flood fill with color of choice,
or use a paper from kit. I use Paper_6.
Click on mask layer and hold CTRL+A to Select All, CTRL+C to Copy.
Click on the paper layer, hit Q to turn on Quick Mask mode.
CTRL+V to paste the mask. It should now be kinda red.
Hit Q to turn off Quick Mask mode and there should be shown
selection on your canvas. Hit the Add Layer Mask.
On paper layer, right click and Convert to Smart Object.
Right click again and Rasterize Layer. Drag completed mask to
your tag canvas as the bottom layer. Resize and place in the center.
Now go under the mask, background layer, and click on it. From a
kit past Element_98, resize and place to cover the empty circle
inside the mask. Click the mask layer then. Now past Frame_4, resize
it but don't hold the 'shift' button cause the frame needs to be more
like a circle not oval (it's OK if it's not circle, but should be
close to it). Add Drop Shadow - Opacity 45%, Angle 120, Distance 5
and Size 5. Go down and click on the mask layer again. From the kit
past Element_79 and place it at the upper left frame side. Use Eraser
Tool to remove parts that cover the Santa, then shadow. Click on the
frame layer, then past full size tube and place it at the bottom of
the frame. Make a copy of tube layer. For the original tube layer
use filter Paint Daubs - Brush Size 1, Sharpness 1 and Brush Type
Simple. Add Drop Shadow on that layer. For the tube copy layer use
filter Gaussian Blur - Radius 5,0 pixels. Then double click on the
layer and set Blend Mode to Overlay with Opacity on 45%. If you like
you can group those two layers. Click on the frame layer again, we
gonna add elements around it now. From the kit past Element_25,
resize and place it at the top right side, behind the tube, shadow.
Then place Element_97 right above the frame, center. Use Eraser tool
to remove the stick, then shadow. Between those two add Element_79
with shadow. At the gold branch past 2 copies of Spray_3, one on
the left and other on the right side with shadow on both. Between
them place Element_102, with 2 copies of Element_82, shadow on all.
We gonna make big bow on top of all that. For that use those
elements with that order with shadow on all:
Element_22
Element_25 (x2)
Element_81 (x2)
Element_63
Element_6
Now add 2 smaller copies of Spray_11 at the canvas bottom, under the
tube. Select both layers and Convert to Smart Object then add shadow.
On it place 2 small copies of Spray_12, no shadow. Then at the frame
left side past Element_25, resize and shadow. On it place Element_102
and Element_92a. Select both layers and Convert to Smart Object,
then add shadow. Little left from them add Element_26, shadow. On it
place Element_70, Element_81 and Element_54 in that order with
shadow on all. At the bottom left side, right above tube boot place
Element_82, shadow. Right from it add Element_19, Element_79 and
Element_5 in that order with shadow on all. Now click on the tubes
group or copy tube layer. We gonna add some elements to cover tube
right bottom. First add 2 copies of Element_19, with shadow on both.
Then place 2 copies of Element_82, shadow. Then place those elements
in that order with shadow on all (check my tag for exact position):
Element_51
Element_16
Element_17
Element_12
Element_5
Element_11
Element_84
Element_50
Element_43
At the end place Word Art_1 as it showen on my tag. Add Stroke -
Size 1 and Color #3a200a, Outer Glow - Screen, Opacity 75%, Softer,
Size 5, Range 50% and Drop Shadow - Opacity 75%, Angle 120,
Distance 2 and Size 2.
Add proper copyright and your name on tag.
Hide or delete bottom 'Background' layer. And save your tag as .PNG file.
